Device compatibility and system requirements

Common setup issues and solutions

If your Android phone blocks the geode APK file with an "Unknown source" warning, this is a security feature. To proceed: go to Settings → Apps & notifications → Advanced → Special app permissions → Install unknown apps, find your browser, and toggle the permission on. This allows your browser to install apps directly. Once geode is installed, you can revert this setting if you prefer.

On iOS, if the geode website appears zoomed or misaligned, clear your Safari cache: Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data, then refresh. If you see a certificate warning, this is rare but means your connection may not be secure—do not proceed and contact our support team via in-app chat or email instead.

For both platforms, if you cannot deposit or your account balance does not update, ensure you have granted geode permission to access your device's camera (for KYC document verification). Go to Settings → Apps → geode → Permissions and enable Camera if it is disabled.

Data usage, permissions, and account security on geode

We at geode use minimal data by design. Streaming a live football match or live-dealer table typically consumes 1–3 MB per hour depending on video quality. Static games (slots like Aviator or Fortune Tiger) use negligible data. We cache game graphics and market data locally, so repeat visits to the same games use even less bandwidth.
